I’m Laila Takeh – a digital geek.

I’m currently a digital strategy and innovation consultant with a particular focus on social impact.

Previously I worked in a tech startup (Raising IT) and immediately prior to that Head of Digital Engagement at UNICEF UK. I’ve got a long history in digital and social impact, with experience at the British Heart Foundation, Action on Hearing Loss, the MS Society and various voluntary roles outside of this.  If you’re interested you can find out more about my career history on LinkedIn. This blog started as a bit of an experiment. I was somewhat dubious about whether I’d just add noise to an already crowded topic area. Somewhere along the way I started to get some good feedback but more than anything this blog has helped me shape my thinking. There’s something about putting your thoughts into a public domain that helps you make more sense of them!

If there is something you’d like to see on this blog please let me know – I’m going to try to post answers and thoughts that have been prompted by questions and conversations I’ve had. So I want to hear from you.
